NONA NAHA - Hopi

A truly spectacular seed pot from Nona Naha with an eight point star design. Measuring 5 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" high, this is one of the best I've seen from Nona. The edge is simply perfect, the pot as thin as it could be without caving in, and the painting is very complex and positively stunning in every facet of its execution! Outdoor firing gives it a sublety of hue, a radiant soft blush that colors the entire piece. Nona was taught by her mother-in-law, Helen Naha, and her sister-in-law, Rainy Naha, as well as her own mother, Edith Nash. Amazing!
