The exquisite lines of this vase make it one of the most spectacular pieces we’ve seen from Sandra!  Sandra is one of the top contemporary potters at Acoma, and has found her niche with her unique style of fineline “op art” design. A niece of the incomparable Dorothy Torivio, whom she credits with teaching her along with others, Sandra is always outdoing herself with a new design or combination of designs, but it is her shapes that truly make her pottery work. Her pots are all painted with natural pigments, and make you wonder how she can paint such fine lines by hand.  Measuring 8 and 3/4“ high by 5 and 1/2“ in diameter, this extraordinary vase is in a class by itself!
